Meet Abby
Dr. Abby Weinstein has worked as a school psychologist supporting students in K-12th grade across the Northern and Northwestern suburbs of Chicago. She received her Educational Doctorate in School Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. She has a passion for supporting children and families with a diverse range of cognitive, social-emotional, linguistic, and functional needs.
She provides psychotherapy to children and adolescents, school-based neuropsychological assessments, parent sessions, and school consultations. As a practicing school psychologist, she enjoyed acting as a thought partner with educators and participating in systems-level initiatives to meet the growing needs of students.
Dr. Weinstein understands that social-emotional and behavioral needs present both challenges and opportunities for educators and administrators to be reflective, creative, and adaptive. She utilizes a strengths-based consultancy conversation around unmet needs, lagging skills, and environmental supports.
