IEP Consultations

For children who are eligible for special education services and an Individualized Education Program, the IEP meeting is all-important. It is a time when parents and school providers come together to review the child’s progress and create a legally binding document that dictates the supports your child receives. One of the many difficulties of an IEP meeting from a parent’s perspective outside of the complexity of special education law, is reviewing a 30-page document in a 60-minute period of time.

Several of our therapists are dually certified as Clinical Psychologists and School Psychologists, which means they have an in depth knowledge of how a school can best support a child with learning needs. Your therapist will go to the meeting with you and advocate for your child to help create the best educational plan possible.
