“I am here to help you successfully manage tough times for better outcomes for your children and yourselves.”
Hello ~ I am glad you dropped in to learn a bit about me. I specialize in helping improve the lives of children and families. I am a Clinical Psychologist with extensive pediatric hospital and public school experience. In therapy, I enjoy helping children and families gain a greater understanding of themselves and each other to build constructive life skills that promote healthy development and fulfilling Relationships.
As parents, we are positioned to support and help our children navigate their emotional, social and behavioral growth. Yet, at times, we need support, guidance, and, perhaps, a new perspective to assist our children to grow, whether those are growing pains or complex emotional issues. I am here to help you successfully manage tough times for better outcomes for your children and yourselves.
I am versed in the challenges and demands placed on youngsters within the school day as well as the how to support issues associated with school. I know how to collaborate with school systems. In addition, I work closely with children with chronic health conditions, including children whose emotional issues prompted their physical symptoms. I understand the unique issues that children and families face.
Over my many years of working with children and families in the medical and school settings, I have come to believe that there is an ongoing need to be clear and practical when developing strategies to work with children and families. My strength-based approach incorporates strategies that lead to the goal of improved relationships, better communication, and higher functioning for children and families. I can help you reach this goal by opening doors and traveling with you as you access and cultivate skills for a better future. Contact me for a conversation.
